The guest
lounge and breakfast room has an impressive inglenook fireplace
with a log burner, french oak furniture and sumptuous leather
sofas providing the perfect ambiance in which to relax.
Guests are welcome to browse and select from a small library
of books, CD's and DVD's, these can be enjoyed in the guest
bedrooms. There is a mini MP3 HIFI
in the lounge so that guests can relax or read with their
favourite music in the background.
The breakfast area is spacious and comfortable and can
be arranged to suit the number of people in your party
should you so wish. We offer a choice of traditional English
breakfast using where possible locally produced bacon and
handmade sausages and of course our own free range eggs.
Alternatively, you may prefer to start your day the continental
way with croissant, fresh rolls and jams or a selection
of cold cooked meats and cheeses. In addition there are
always cereals and fruit juices.
The large entrance hall is home to our extensive local
information bureau and also has a cloakroom for guests
use.
